HMD Tactical 0P Black (No cup)

Controlled hookah heat with the HMD Tactical 0P Black

If you’re dialing in your charcoal setup and want more consistent heat than foil alone, the HMD Tactical 0P Black gives you a compact, metal-on-bowl solution with a straightforward design and no extra parts to manage.

This heat management device is made from aluminum, so it heats up quickly and responds fast when you adjust your coals. With a width of 5.5 cm, it’s a smaller-format HMD, suited to bowls that match this footprint rather than large, wide-lip designs. Its stated capacity of 2 indicates space for up to two pieces of charcoal, which naturally leans toward more moderate heat and easier control instead of aggressive, high-heat sessions.

The Tactical 0P has a smooth interior with no teeth, so your coals sit flat. That makes placement and rotation simple, but you’ll want to handle them carefully with proper tongs to avoid slipping. The black finish gives it a low-profile look on your setup, and it’s manufactured in Ukraine for those who like to know where their gear comes from.

This version is sold without a cup, so plan to pair it with a compatible bowl you already own or are picking out separately. If you’re looking for a compact, aluminum HMD in black that prioritizes manageable, two-coal heat, this is a strong, stripped-down option to consider.
